I love living & working in Golden, Colorado so much! It’s such a sweet town, located in the foothills of the stunning Rocky Mountains that is only a hop skip, and a jump from the bustle of Denver, Colorado. It’s an amazing place for enjoying nature, good food, and its unique & vibrant buzz.
It’s also home to my beloved boudoir photography studio, Embodied Art Boudoir!

Taxes, Who?
Embodied Art Boudoir is unincorporated part of Golden, in Jefferson County.
Being unincorporated means that this area is not part of any municipality or city government. So, this part of Golden is governed just by the county government.
Okay, a little snooze… What does this mean for my beautiful clients!?
My clients save SO much money in sales taxes because of being located in unincorporated Jefferson County . Here, the rate is just 4.5%, compared to the hefty 9%+ in Denver.
So you save HALF and I’m only down the road from Denver!

- Crumbl Cookies (a must for those with a sweet tooth!!)
- ThirsTea Tiger for Korean corn dogs & bubble tea
- Garbanzo for Mediterranean
- Seasoned Swine for BBQ, nachos, and tacos
If you’re up for a 10-minute drive, Belmar in Lakewood is a foodie’s paradise with spots like Little India, known for its great lunch specials.
Downtown Golden, just 15 minutes away, is a charming area perfect for a stroll and hunting for yummy food.

Nature’s Very Best
One of the best parts of Golden is the proximity to Mother Nature’s incredible work! Im still dazzled by the views & mountains.
Just a stone’s throw away from EAB is Clear Creek, a lovely spot for a leisurely walk during your lunch break, or after your shoot to reflect. The gentle flow of the creek plus the forestry, creates a really lovely & peaceful atmosphere.
For those keen to brave an adventure further afield, a drive-up to Lookout Mountain offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Once at the top, you can park and take off on one of the many hiking trails that wind through the mountain.
