What to Expect BEFORE Your First Boudoir Photoshoot

I know how overwhelming it can feel to do something totally new for the first time ever! So whether it’s your first boudoir photoshoot or you’ve done one many years ago, I’ll make sure you feel completely prepared before you even step foot in the studio.

After you book your shoot, you’ll receive a bunch of emails from me that explain all the details on what to wear, how to prepare for your photo shoot, recommended products, payment plans, and special bonuses!

You’ll also get a very important email a few months before your shoot – to schedule your pre-shoot consultation. The pre-shoot consultation is your perfect opportunity to ask questions about your session, purchase a Collection, choose your bonuses, and get my personal help figuring out outfits for your shoot!

The day has come, and you’re ready for your boudoir photoshoot!! Today is all about YOU.

Once you arrive at the studio, get ready to be pampered by hair and make-up!

This is your time to relax and enjoy being taken care of. Don’t worry – your hair & makeup artist will get to know your skin/hair type, preferences, and personal style to make sure they create a look that you absolutely LOVE & feel confident in. I usually finalize outfit choices with you while you’re in the chair.

Before we get started with the shoot I’ll lead you through a guided meditation to help you get in the self love mindset and send some good vibes to your body.

Finally, time for the photoshoot itself! Once you’re all done up and feeling like a million bucks, we’ll dive into the shoot, which typically takes about 60-90 minutes.

It’s a blast – look, I know butterflies and nerves are going to happen (they happen to EVERYONE) so I make sure to cheer you on the whole time & show you some images on the back of the camera so you can see how incredible you’re looking right from the start!

Everyone I’ve photographed has transformed into a total rockstar during their shoot & told me “that was a lot more fun than I expected!”

Post-session, you’ll get dressed & head out to lunch nearby while I work on your images.

What to Expect AFTER Your Boudoir Photoshoot

Whew! You just did some amazing work!!

After your shoot, you’ll probably be feeling a bit tired and be looking forward to a break.

Here’s what you can expect after you boudoir photoshoot at Embodied Art Boudoir

While you’re at lunch refueling, I will be busy editing your images and creating a product mock-up. Once you return, you’ll see your completed images for the first time.

Yes, you read right, you will see your photos for the first time the SAME day as your session. Talk about instant gratification! My clients LOVE seeing their photos the same day, it also means they only have to travel to me and take time off work once!

Once you finalize your image & product selection, you’re all set!

Unless you’re upgrading, you won’t even have to pull out your wallet & worry about the expense after feeling so pampered all day.

All my clients prepay for their desired Collection (many with payment plans) so they can truly relax and let go on their photoshoot day.

You will receive your order within 3-4 weeks from your photoshoot. Once you have your images in hand, they are yours to enjoy for many years later.

These photos serve as empowering proof of your body as art. Truly – this is the best part!!
