These Garden of the Gods engagement photos blew me away. I just love this location – the dramatic, red rock formations and Pike’s Peak looming in the distance. It’s also a fantastic spot for an elopement or intimate wedding – free and very accessible. Read on to learn more about this engagement session at one of Colorado’s most iconic natural wonders.
This story is about Christina & Mike, the chillest couple in Colorado. I loved their calm energy and comfort with each other. Mike, quiet and reserved, and Christina, bubbly and gentle, made such a good pair.
These two got engaged during this first camping trip together, which says a lot! First travels and camping trips with a romantic partner can be make it or break it. Clearly, it made it for these two 😉
As you’ll see in the photos, Garden of the Gods is a very unique and bold location. Right outside Colorado Springs on the Front Range, GotG is also extremely easy to visit!
It was gifted to the City of Colorado Springs in 1909 on the conditions that it remains free and open to the public forever. Which makes it a great location for a elopement, even if you have a few guests. Garden of the Gods wedding anyone?
This little park packs a huge punch. A couple one way roads wind around to several different areas of the park. For this Garden of the Gods engagement session, we explored the Central Garden, where you can get up close and personal with some of the rock formations. You can even belay climb here with the right permit!
