I was inspired to write this blog as a rebellion against the pervasive narrative of women’s bodies never being good enough. We’re too skinny, too curvy, too tall, too masculine…I’m frankly tired of it and I wanted to remind you that you ARE a masterpiece & that women ARE sexy at any weight!

Defining “sexy”

Sexy is a polarizing word, particularly when it comes to women & feminity.

Society has excessive definitions & rules around the word, and I don’t even want to give them much energy, as this just contributes to the BS and confusion women have to deal with already!

Instead, let’s focus on the power of the word. Sexiness is a powerful & dynamic energy inside all of us.

A sexy woman has ambition, goals & unlimited creative ideas. A sexy woman is intelligent, driven & hilarious. A sexy woman shows up for herself & sets boundaries.

One thing sexy is not? Defined by weight, body shape, size, or age!

The truth is, “sexy” is completely individual and defined FOR ourselves, BY ourselves. Being sexy starts with understanding what makes you feel good about yourself & highlighting it.

Going Through Changes

Bodies change. It is a natural part of human existence and it should never be looked down upon or challenged. There is beauty in change. Every scar, every pound gained or lost, each new tattoo, tells a story—your story & what better way to capture it than in a sensual, thoughtful boudoir photo shoot!?

We may see ourselves in a mirror every day, but it simply isn’t the same as what you’ll witness in pictures.

The images we take will invite you to drink in your body brazenly, without hesitancy. The way that you move, pose, and dance in a boudoir photoshoot allows me to capture the angles, emotions, & personality you dont always have on show (don’t worry, I’ll help coach you, too!).

It will allow you to truly witness just how striking you are— regardless of your weight.

I strive for every woman who enters my studio to feel comfortable & step into their power, but I also recognise that everyone is on a different stage of their self-acceptance journey. My promise is to always meet you wherever you may be.
